Wow!  Where did February go?? Have any of you been feeling a little disconnected and doing everything you possibility can just to stay on-top of things? Can you believe it is already February?!

Wow!! What a Weekend! I had the pleasure of meeting Gregg Braden at his workshop – “2012 and Beyond – the Shift has Begun!” Big thanks to Donna Visocky of Bella Spark Productions (one of our Founding Members of The Women’s Small Biz Network) for bringing him into Ft Collins! For those of you who attended my “Prosperity Shift” workshop – Oh my goodness – I am so excited! What Gregg Braden shared was so in-line with what I talked about in the “Prosperity Shift”! I am close to having the follow-up program ready – so you should be hearing from me some time this week. Heart-Brain Coherence – Reduce Stress and Increase Attraction

In the “Prosperity Shift” I spoke about an Emotional Thermostat Set-Point. At lower set-points it is more difficult to manifest what you want. A lower set point is expressed in emotions such as fear, jealousy, blame, doubt, worry. At a higher set-point – expressing emotions such as belief, happiness, joy, appreciation – you have an increased ability manifest exactly what you want.

How do you know what your Set-Point is?? How can you increase your Set-Point and how do you know you are increasing it? GOOD QUESTIONS!

One way, of course, is continually noticing how you feel. If you feel good – you are are at a higher set-point. Feeling bad you are at a lower set-point. But wouldn’t it be cool if you could actually measure it???

Gregg Braden introduced us to a new system that is absolutely amazing! It is called the emWave. In main-stream marketing it is being introduced as as a way to Reduce Stress – which of course it does and guess what! When you reduce stress (stress is caused by lower set-point emotions) you open the pathways to experience the higher set-point emotions and open up the natural flow of healing and manifestation. How cool is that?!

This is an actual computer program (or you can get a hand held devise) that has the ability to measure your stress level and tracks your progress as you practice and learn to change your emotional state.

I was checking out our Google and I wanted to share with you some exciting information I discovered!

Many of you have asked – what is the point of Social Networking – I don’t have time for Twitter or Facebook…

Let me illustrate why they could be important when it comes to Google Rankings.

If you Googled “Women’s Biz Network” out of 1,770,000 listings the Women’s Small Biz Network’s TWITTER page is on the 1st Page and is Major Listing #2 (it was listing #1 this weekend)

When Googleing “women’s small biz” – The Women’s Small Biz Network’s Facebook page is on the 1st Page and is the 3rd Major Listing out of  1,050,000 listings!!

Here is the Cool Thing for YOU!   As a Member of the Women’s Small Biz Network whenever you post a Blog directly on the Women’s Small Biz Network it is ALSO posted to our TWITTER and our FACEBOOK sites.  That means more exposure for you and your business!!

There are very few women taking advantage of this opportunity to get their information out there.  I invite you to start posting your own Blogs on the Women’s Small Biz Network – especially if you don’t have your own blog!  This is a great place to start and practice. (Also, keep your eyes open – we have some upcoming training to help you create your own blog, Twitter page and Facebook Page)

Here are few Blogging guidelines to help you out.

What to post in the Blog…

Blogs are place to post valuable information to build a relationship with your potential clients/customers.
Here are some ideas…

• * Share Recipes
• * Share How To’s
• * Share interesting stories/learnings/observations
• * Share best practices
• * Share little know facts about your industry
• * Share thoughts and ideas
• * Share interests/hobbies/passions to get people to know you personally
• * etc.

Here are some things to think about when adding a blog post

• * If you can add a photo or video your message becomes much more visually interesting.
• * Be sure to add your contact  information and website at the end of the blog so people can find you and follow-up
• * Blogs are NOT a place to blatantly sell your products. Subtlety is key. Get people interested in finding out more. Allow your products to sell themselves AFTER you’ve created a feeling of trust with your potential client/customer.
• * Make it personal and real when you can – you want people to get to know who you are.
